Shatta Wale gifts Captan a brand New Toyota Camry     Musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah known in Showbiz circles as Shatta Wale has proven his love for Captan of SM Militants by gifting him a brand new Toyota Camry. The music luminary earlier made mention on facebook that he is going to award one of the SM Militant . The Militants, which is made up of Joint 77, Addi Self and Captan, were featured on one of Wale's major hits last year, titled "Taking Over". EBONY IN TROUBLE

Ebony Reigns Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of K Monsi Ventures, Mr Francis Yaw Asare, has threatened to sue Ghanaian musician,Priscilla Opoku Kwateng affectionately known as Ebony Reigns, for failing to attend a concert she was billed for in the Volta Region. Narrating the ordeal on Joy Prime’s Entertainment Review ‘The Red Carpet’ show, Mr Francis bemoaned that he paid Ebony GHC35,000 to perform at a concert in Hohoe but she failed to show up. According to him, he was phoned few hours into the event only to be informed that Ebony, the headline artiste, had been involved in a car accident hence the need to decline the show. Prophet Badu Kobi Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, leader of the Glorious Wave Ministry says he has played an integral role in Ghana’s controversial dancehall artiste life over the past years. The prophet who is widely known for dashing out luxurious cars to celebrities was emphatic on UTV’s morning show ADEKYE NSROMO that he made multiple award winning dancehall artiste Shatta Wale popular in the show-business industry. TRANSPORT FARES TO SHOOT UP

  Transportation fares could increase soon, despite stability in fuel prices as the Ghana Private Roads and Transport Union (GPRTU) reviews its fare computations. The umbrella body of commercial drivers is to rope in the prices of spare parts among others into its fare computations. According to the Union, drivers over the years have to bear with increase in spare parts as there is no avenue to transfer some of the cost to passengers. Speaking to the media, the vice chairman for the GPRTU, Robert Saba said something needs to be done urgently to address the situation before commercial drivers are thrown out of job.
