Asonaba Kweku Darko a.k.a SUPER OD

News reaching newsquartersonline augurs that, Proficient Actor Asonaba Kwaku Darko, popularly known as Super OD has passed on.
The battle-scarred Actor had been out of the public’s eye for some time due to his illness and was admitted at a hospital in swedru. Unfortunately he gave up the ghost on Tuesday morning at 07:35 am in Agona Swedru in the Central region of Ghana where he resides.

In July 2017, An Entourage from the Ghana Actors Guild visited the actor and offered him a mobile phone and a huge amount of money.
Former President John Dramani Mahama also paid him a visit.

Super OD, started acting in the 1970s and gained national pinnacle in the 1990s for roles in played in popular series, the Akan Drama on Ghana Television.

He was part of the Oppong Drama Group which later became known as Osofo Dadzie Group. He was 84 years.
